Paying for Services

Insured Patients

As a courtesy to our patients, we will file your primary and secondary insurance claims with your insurance company, regardless of Knoxville Heart Group’s participation.

We are happy to assist you in maximizing your allowable benefit with your insurance plan, however, we need your active participation in the process to achieve this goal. We must have a copy of the front and the back of your insurance card(s) and all of the necessary patient information in order to submit the forms correctly to your insurance company.

If your insurance plan stipulates that you have a co-payment, the co-payment is due at the time of your appointment.

Non-Insured Patients

All non-insured patients are expected to pay in full at the time service is rendered.

Payment Plans

We will work with you on an individual basis to set up a reasonable monthly payment plan for any large balances that you may have.

We extend this option to our patients with large balances as a courtesy, and require that the monthly payment amount agreed upon be paid in a timely and consistent manner. Failure to comply with these terms will result in your entire balance being immediately due.
